Description : The Providence Office of Enterprise Experience exists to ensure an exceptional patient and consumer experience across all geographies and service delivery sites of the enterprise. Functions include expert to expert collaboration, design, development and deployment of standardization and innovation over scale across the regions and ministries. Additionally the Office of Enterprise Experience provides expertise in performance metrics, target setting and performance improvement with a focus on continual enhancement of care outcomes and experience of those we serve.
The Senior Program Manager provides focused program/ project management support efforts of the Office of Enterprise Experience, to advance the vision, strategy and work plans for patient and consumer experience. Success is accomplished through collaboration with interdisciplinary partners such as Clinical Analytics, Health Care Intelligence, Digital Innovation Group, Physician Enterprise, Nursing Enterprise, Ambulatory Care Network, Home and Community Health, Population Health, as well as system and regional operational leadership and subject matter experts.
A challenging and varied position, the ideal candidate will work with key subject matter experts, regional leadership and departmental leads across the enterprise to build the lasting rapport needed to grow the system initiatives.

Responsibilities of the Senior Program Manager span Providence family of organizations throughout all regions and includes managing multiple, complex high profile projects simultaneously. Duties will be performed in a manner that promotes project team success and reflects the Providence mission, philosophy, and core values of respect, compassion, justice, excellence and stewardship and our Promise.

In all aspects, the Senior Program Manager serves as a role model for the values and mission of the organization.
Requirements : Education:
Bachelor’s degree required in business or healthcare administration, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum five years of relevant experience with at least three years in managing multiple complex high profile projects simultaneously, and driving towards successful results.
• Demonstrated success in identifying and leading initiatives in a large multi-region or matrixes/divisional, complex organization is desired.
• In addition, consulting background is also beneficial for experience in a high production, deadline-oriented professional work environment requiring multi-tasking, flexibility, and self-directed work.

• Focused written and verbal communication responsive to the needs of the customers.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• A practical common sense approach to creating management tools which fit the unique needs of the customers and the circumstances
• Self-starter and autonomous in managing multiple projects and accountabilities.
• Strong team player with the ability to work effectively with leadership at multiple levels of the organization in a credible and professional manner.
• Ability to be flexible with time and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Solid understanding of pace, complexity and challenges of providing corporate support services for a multi-state organization.
• Has responsive service orientation -- positive, "can do" approach to initiatives, problems and solutions.
• Ability to develop and identify objectives, elucidate recommendations and achieve results on time in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to discern the need for timely topic or issue escalation.
• Experience Project Management methodologies and software.
• Ability to participate in training in the use of CAP, Work-Out, Lean and Epic tools.

Project management, LEAN, CAP or other change/project management certifications preferred
