Description : The external engagement team works globally to ensure that BMS functions and departments are receiving and assessing information to maintain compliance for the delivery of our products.

This role sits within the Regulatory Compliance and External Engagement group in Global Quality, with touchpoints across the enterprise.

This role is central in coordinating and serving as project manager to support the execution of the GxP External Engagement strategy.   This is a great opportunity for someone with exceptional operational and project management skills to develop a career in pharma.



RESPONSIBILITIES include:

Proactively manage the day-to-day process and serve as project manager for cross-functional weekly Policy Review Council meetings.  This includes:
identifying team leads
staffing teams
assigning and tracking actions through completion
posting documents in a SharePoint site
bringing Team Assessments and Decisions to a timely closure.
Maintain Policy Review Council SME list and team lists
Communicate with Director of External Engagement to provide regular status updates on committee activities and escalate issues related to staffing or timely completion of actions
Proactively manage and communicate issues, scope, progress, and risks throughout the project lifecycles ensuring key stakeholders are informed.
Oversee a robust and efficient process, and drive continuous improvement where opportunities exist for process improvements
Build effective working relationships with cross-functional colleagues
Oversee and periodically report policy review process metrics to provide visibility into process performance and health.
Lead the design/re-design/maintenance/Control of the SharePoint Site.
Administer and maintain presentations for incorporation of Flash (external topic) reports for Quality Councils.
Requirements : BASIC QUALIFICATIONS and SKILLS

Bachelor's degree
3+ years of experience in a role requiring operational, administrative and project management
Proficiency in MS Office and Collaboration applications such as SharePoint
Highly organized with attention to detail and excellent follow-through skills
Experience using sophisticated communication, mediation and collaborative communication skills to achieve results
Ability to resolve conflicts


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS and SKILLSBachelors degree in in pharmaceutical sciences, regulatory affairs, engineering, or science

Project management experience / certification preferred
Experience leading and driving process improvements
Experience in quality and compliance, such as evaluating regulatory policies, writing procedural documents, etc.
Understanding of one of more GxP areas and willingness to expand knowledge into other areas.
