Description : Our client, a major professional services firm, seeks a technical CPA & Leader to contribute their talents and help manage their Bay area/San Francisco practice regarding IPO and SPAC preparation. This is a career opportunity.

Associate Director 190K+ and 20% bonus and additional excellent benefits and perks.

Associate Directors take the lead role in strengthening relationships with key clients and provide guidance in the completion of consulting engagements
Responsibilities:
Work directly with C-level executives and providing superior service that is used as a reference in obtaining additional work. Maintaining primary contact with clients and managing their expectations, project scope and the related operational matters. Participate in engagement sales opportunities and develop work at existing clients. Develop clients. Proposal writing and leadership materials. Interest in project management and team leadership. Create development opportunities.
Requirements : Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline (e.g. Accounting, Finance, or Business Related Field). 10+ years working in assurance services, consulting, internal audit, or related field, either in professional services or industry (7 years required in public accounting or professional services or consulting). Microsoft Office suite: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Visio and Access helpful. CPA required. Experience assisting and supporting clients through IPO and/or SPAC readiness and transaction process. Strong knowledge in Technical Accounting, including Regulatory Filings and Financial Reporting. Technically sound on accounting and reporting matters. Experience leading teams that assist clients in preparing the financial and reporting aspects of an IPO/SPAC, such as: Assess IPO readiness, SEC reporting requirements, technical accounting matters, Internal controls, internal audit, risk and compliance management, Preparation of financial disclosures, corporate governance structures, Policy, and procedure documentation.
Currently, during Covid protocol all work is remote, once back to normalcy travel frequency depends on client requests and scheduled executive meetings. With density of client base in the area, overnight travel will be less.
