The Strategic Management (SM) lead will lead CT&I in making strategic choices to unlock new growth, drive innovation, and enable competitive advantage for HCA. They are to serve as a subject matter advisor on strategic management and bring that perspective in managing all CT&I initiatives. This lead is responsible for the execution, alignment, communication, and control of CT&I’s strategic planning. This role is a member of CT&I within COG, reports to CT&I leads and manages direct reports.

Will adhere to the standard operating procedures of CT&I, including all supportive technologies used to organize and progress work efforts • Design and drive CT&I strategic plan, in conjunction with S&I, to ensure alignment with enterprise strategy, efficiency of efforts, and risk mitigation • Manage and facilitate senior stakeholder engagement to drive integrated CT&I strategy • Oversee and manage the strategic portfolio of CT&I, including operational strategies across multiple areas of the enterprise • Develop hypotheses for value creation and transformation creatively; Assess value, costs, timing and risks for opportunities through strategic and operational diligence • Oversee and give direction to all projects through the PMO service, specifically to Project Management team members to ensure efficiency and timeliness of deliverables • Design, develop, and manage the performance of the strategy, identifying any risks and proactively mitigating those risks through a structured method of strategy management [e.g., Strategic Management Balanced Scorecards] • Analyze and report key performance indicators, risks to strategy, and develops alternate adjustments to the strategy, as needed • Serve as a coach to the strategic management process and methods • Support the Change Management team in developing effective communications in alignment with CT&I strategic goals • Provide actionable insights that enable CT&I to formulate near- and long-term strategies that address pressing issues and provide a clear path for implementation • Participate in the development and presentation of proposals for business development activities
Requirements : Bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance or related field

MBA or other advanced degree required

Minimum of 10 years of experience in business strategy, strategic planning, strategy management, and industrial management Excellent organizational, time-management, oral and written communication, interpersonal, presentation, and program management skills including on high impact and high-risk projects Experience leading a team and collaborating with various stakeholders in innovation and/or technology-driven environment Experience with healthcare industry and knowledge of Future of Health care models and practices Experience in strategy consulting or strategy practice within a Fortune 500 firm
