Description : Senior Financial Analyst position which supports the Internal Reporting processes for the sectors including monthly reporting, budget, and forecasts.  The position will be based in our Charlotte, NC corporate office.


Responsibilities:

•    Support the sectors of Compass Group through all aspects of internal reporting, budget, and forecasts
•    Prepare, populate, collect, and analyze results on the monthly close cycle and budget/forecasts for the sectors for use in internal management reporting and to comply with Group requirements (MAP)
•    Generate and analyze specialized internal information that is used by Executives and Senior Leadership
•    Utilize Essbase to load financial data for the budget and forecasts
•    Produce reports that contains KPI’s and other financial metrics used by the Executive team
•    Develop an understanding of the sectors in order to assist in ad-hoc reporting
•    Special projects as determined necessary by management as well as ad hoc analysis for Sector Finance and Executive Management 
•    Participate in the analysis of the efficiency and effectiveness of current departmental processes and procedures and ultimately help to implement identified improvements
Requirements : Qualifications:
 
•    Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
•    4 to 6+ years of accounting/finance/reporting experience in a large organization
•    Prioritize and manage multiple assignments in a tight deadline driven environment
•    Ability to work independently and possess strong problem solving skills 
•    Detail oriented with excellent analytical skills 
•    Hyperion, Essbase, HFM, and SAP experience a plus
•    Ability to adjust to changing priorities
•    High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Access, with ability to manage large amounts of data and advanced financial models 
•    Excellent communication skills 
•    Ability to effectively manage and extend influence across multiple layers of the organization
