Description : Compass Group, the world’s leading contract foodservice company, has a Great Opportunity for career development and growth here at its North America headquarters in Charlotte, NC as a Projects and Systems Financial Analyst with Foodbuy Accounting’s Team.


Responsibilities: 

Manage the RPA/dashboarding processes for FB Accounting, including process design, implementation, maintenance, and monitoring.  
Support / Lead Department Projects:
Identify process improvement opportunities
Document process and requirements and review for gaps/improvements
Assist with problem/process resolutions
Implement improvements - document, test, modify, train, etc...
Track and report project status to management
    Improve FB Accounting reporting efficiency, accuracy, and user experience
Ad hoc analysis, reporting and project requests as identified or assigned
Promote use of technologies and tools within Foodbuy Accounting and Corporate Accounting teams
Increase the FB Accounting team’s knowledge of technology solutions through trainings and as a technology SME.
Power BI
Power Query
Power Automate (or other RPA solutions)
Support/lead supplier contract review process - Identify, interpret, and document financial terms
Assist with month-end transactional close tasks as needed; including supplier passbacks, cash applications, journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure Vendor Allowances are recognized and booked appropriately.
Requirements :    Four-year degree in Accounting, Finance, or Information Systems
   Proficient in Microsoft Office (Strong Excel skills required, Access database skills a plus) 
   Experience with Microsoft Power Applications (Power BI, Power Query, Power Automate) preferred 
   Ability to multi-task between various priorities, tasks, and timelines 
   Detailed oriented with strong analytical/problem solving skills  
   Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills 
   Strong organization and planning skills 
   Desire to continuously learn and grow as a professional
   Collaborative - works well as a member of a team  
   Experience with a large company (> $3 billion sales) 
   Experience with SAP or other large ERP 
   Accounting experience - 3 years corporate or 1-year public 
   CPA certifications or candidate or MBA, preferred 
   Lead cross-department initiatives & projects 
   Experience delivering presentations to Sr. Management and department customers
   Strong accounting knowledge and understanding of balance sheet process
   Strong database and data analytic skills
   Experience with process improvement initiatives using documented project plan (Kaizen, Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)
   Experience mapping and flowcharting business and accounting processes
   Experience with business intelligence software (PowerBI, Tableau, etc.)
   Experience with workflow /RPA software (Power Automate, UiPath, or other RPA solutions) preferred
