Description : In North America, FLEETCOR has driven consistent double-digit growth through continuous product innovation in its fuel card products. Within these products we have developed variations that meet the unique needs of a variety of different customer segments ranging from small medium businesses with less than 10 vehicles to major commercial and governmental customers with greater than 10,000 vehicles.
FLEETCOR has initiated a search for Vice President of Product within their Fuelman business. FLEETCOR is currently pursuing a new set of product ideas that have the potential to dramatically expand our market opportunity, spend per customer, and value creation through additional service offerings. We expect these new ideas to become the primary growth drivers enabling continued double-digit growth for FLEETCOR’s largest North American business. We are seeking an experienced leader to have responsibility for ensuring the availability and efficiency of the product’s functions and features. The scope of this role would include product operations, enhancements, attrition management, and revenue management for product offerings to the base. This role will have significant senior management exposure and a critical impact on the continued success of the company.
Requirements : Main Responsibilities:
• Responsible for developing and owning the main product roadmaps that achieve successful and timely delivery for FLEETCOR’s Fuelman product.
• Lead cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment (including IT, Operations, Customer Service, and Credit).
• Produce and coordinate base portfolio analysis to maximize customer engagement, revenue generation, and product use.
• Monitoring industry trends and developments in both the fuel card space as well as adjacent payments and FinTech markets.
• Leverage customer feedback to meet future consumer demands and continuously improve the value proposition of Fuelman’s products and services.
• Maintain a long-term, big picture view, foreseeing obstacles and opportunities and generate innovative ideas and solutions that create a win-win for Fuelman and the customer.
• Contribute to the overall development of Fuelman’s product roadmap and participate as a thought leader in regards to clients and industry perceptions of existing products and technology.
The Ideal Candidate:
• Bachelor degree from a 4-year college or university with MBA preferred.
• 8+ plus years of experience in a combination of product and/or strategy consulting roles required.
• Experience in payments, Credit Cards, FinTech, or Strategy Consulting and a balance of experience at both large and small companies is strongly preferred.
• Ambitious and resourceful; results oriented; highly innovative. Focused on business value creation through continuous improvement and innovation.
• Effective executor; pivots well from ideation to rapid-cycle implementation. Thrives in less structured environment that values speed-to-market over perfection.
• Highly analytical, data-driven mindset; holds self and others accountable with measurable ROI oriented KPIs.
• Straightforward, collaborative and non-political personality and leadership style, with strong influence, facilitation and problem solving skills.
• Energetic and positive contributor who can build a highly motivated and high performance team.
