The Learning and Development Manager plays an important leadership role in delivering and enhancing our training experience to our employees and dealers. The role will collaborate with key stakeholders across Ford Credit’s numerous departments, including Sales, Risk, Center Operations and others, to ensure training to employees and dealers is developed, maintained and delivered timely to support business needs. In addition, this role collaborates with Ford Motor Company’s Learning and Development team to maximize alignment and synergies.

The Learning and Development Manager will:

• Develop and deliver effective learning solutions that create a capable organization of functionally and technically skilled, motivated people
• Benchmark internally and externally to ensure best practices in delivery
• Manage a team of 27 Learning & Development professionals in alignment with corporate objectives
• Ensure alignment across skill teams, regions and centrally to drive synergy and efficiency
• Ensure curriculum and learning solutions exist to secure competency assurance for employees and dealers
• Establish, track and report Learning & Development performance to objectives

The Learning and Development Manager should have:

• Broad experience in delivering/managing training across a large organization, utilizing best-in-class technology and delivery methods
• Strong communication skills including the ability to impart or exchange information as a means of connecting people or places for the enhancement of business outcomes, both internally and externally
• Strong leadership skills that enacts team building through a diplomatic inclusive leadership style, which values both the uniqueness and commonalities in team members, openness to diverse input, and facilitation of dialogue to produce the best results
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills and proven record of accomplishment in effectively achieving results in a cross-functional or matrix environment
• Outstanding written and presentation skills
Requirements : Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in applicable field
• 5+ years of experience in developing and delivering training to diverse skills teams across a variety of platforms
• 5+ years of team management experience in a large organization

Preferred Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in developing and delivering training to diverse skills teams across a variety of platforms
• Experience managing a team of 30+ individuals across multiple locations
• Experience delivering training to external customers
• Understanding of finance/automotive industries
