The Salesforce global Finance organization is seeking a Sr. Director of Finance Transformation and People Enablement to lead Finance through transformation. As the Sr. Director- Finance Transformation and People Enablement you will oversee the strategy that helps make complex change easy for our organization, in addition to providing strategic guidance to enable our people. The ideal candidate will be comfortable leading change management, as well as enablement, training and communications. They will work to connect the dots across different business portfolios championing the Finance vision and key tenants of our transformation. Key to this role is your ability to lead teams, build relationships, apply critical thinking and sound judgement, and take the initiative to drive results. You should also be able to articulate the value of change management programs and principles to business partners and senior leaders in the business. As a successful Sr. Director- Finance Transformation and People Enablement, you will be comfortable using your influence and innovation to maximize adoption and ensure lasting change.

● Engage and enable individuals impacted by transformational change using creative firepower to deliver key messages and engagement opportunities in ways that resonate within the Salesforce culture.
● Develop, revise, and operate a best in class change management capability that will account for disruptive change to the global Finance team’s operating model (strategy, structure, processes and systems, shared values, etc.)in support of achieving our Finance Multi-year Strategy.
● Create and manage a center of excellence for change in addition to oversight and execution of change planning and people enablement for specific projects.
● Evolve and strengthen a Change Management practice that drives stakeholder engagement and adoption of the Transformation priorities and which gathers and disseminates best practices and effective materials to our change practitioners across GBO.
● Create and maintain robust change management tools and templates to activate the change strategy and accelerate change management activities for application across our change initiatives: change impact assessment; change communications plans and framework; stakeholder analysis and engagement tactics; change readiness metrics and tracking; capability-building.
● Set clear and measurable change management objectives, create clear methodologies for communications and change (process calendar, dashboard) and generate regular approved communications and engagement events to broader GBO.
● Provide strategic input on messaging and positioning; Influence stakeholders as needed to ensure communications are compelling and aligned with our desired tone.
● Manage and maintain close collaboration with communications resources to ensure internal communications messages are consistent across all mediums.
● Create an open forum for employees to ask questions and share content or thoughts. Respond to feedback from staff and adjust communications content accordingly.
● Own and drive Workforce Transformation for Finance inclusive of: technical and human skills assessment and development; awareness, analysis, and action to build, borrow, and buy required skills to advance the organization; plan and coordination to activate the GBO workforce to support business objectives derived from the broader GBO transformation.
● Identify and address workforce gaps, allowing our team to run efficiently and to maximize value creation.
● Monitor economic and company trends with an eye towards preparing for the unexpected.
● Serve as a partner with our hiring managers, consulting on the skills of the future needed for our talent.
● Enable professional development, building future Salesforce leaders.
● Help identify required competencies needed for finance transformation and develop action plan for building skills of the future.
● Support functional enablement and skill building programs across GBO.
● 10+ years in change management (work experience in consulting or finance is a plus)
● Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree in organizational design, leadership, or communications preferred; change management certificate a plus
● Deep understanding of and passion for technology- and strategy-driven change management programs, delivered in a global and cross-functional environment
● Proven track record of leading and delivering multiple, complex, enterprise-wide change management programs. Expert in change management principles, methodologies, tools. Up to date on innovative, and cutting-edge best practices
● Highly organized, energetic, and charismatic leader, who can unite a team around a specific objective; an effective and persuasive communicator, who has executive presence, impact and can simplify messaging
● Embodies consultative listening skills to drive deep understanding of business issues and simplify complex issues to drive collaboration and adoption of transformative change
● Exceptional problem-solving skills: demonstrated ability to analyze data, structure complex problems, and develop solutions
● Experience leading teams and developing people a must
● Ability to work in a demanding, fast-paced environment; comfortable dealing with ambiguity
● Excellent decision-making abilities
