Competencies:
A. Education:
Requires knowledge of Supply Chain/Accounts payable as normally obtained through completion of a Bachelor’s degree, or five years work experience in related areas with a preference for Five years experience in a Purchasing/Accounting department.
B. Knowledge:
Must have strong knowledge of SAP, intermediate knowledge of computer equipment, automated accounts payable and purchasing systems, as well as Supply Chain and Accounting principles. Knowledge of EDI and proficient in Excel.
C. Skills:
Must have strong interpersonal skills necessary to communicate and troubleshoot various Supply Chain related problems
Ability to work in a team, coordinating work across other team members
Ability to assist other departments in maintaining computer systems for inventory management, accounts payable and purchasing and in‑house systems personnel Must have strong knowledge of how ERP Supply chain applications enhance the daily business practices of the organization
Must have strong analytical ability necessary to solve Supply Chain computer operating problems
Must be detail oriented
Must be a team player
Must be adaptable to changing circumstances
Must be able to prioritize competing priorities
Must be able to work with minimal supervision
Strong knowledge of Excel and Access, merging files, data cleansing, project manager

None
E. Work Experience:
Minimum of five years of Supply Chain and or accounts payable experience – Knowledge of MMIS modules including – Requisitioning, Purchasing, Receiving, Inventory Management, Invoicing and EDI is required

Make decisions regarding work processes based upon established guidelines
C. Supervisory Responsibility:
None, but will generally oversee the work of Master Data employees.
Problem Solving:
Effectiveness in problem solving is required to resolve user department concerns/problems regarding vendors, services, billing or various Supply Chain related issues. Must also be able to explain how processes impact budget.
Information Management:
Knowledge of Materials Management information and Support Systems.
Working Conditions:
Normal office environment
• Experience above and beyond the work experience requirement will be considered in lieu of degree on 2 years of experience for 1 year of education basis
