Description : • B.S. in Business, Marketing, Finance or related program required. MBA strongly preferred.
• Professional consulting experience in strategy, downstream marketing and/or sales
• Direct experience in marketing and/or sales preferred

Requirements : – The purpose of the Head of Strategic Projects of the Medical Systems Group is to support the President of the Medical Systems group and the leadership team in driving strategic operation planning and execution of projects, programs, and management and facilitation of key non-project initiatives aimed at delivering results. This role will have direct accountability for administrative deliverables, will interact regularly with senior leadership and will maintain cross-functional relationships to enable leadership success.
• Act as a key strategist and advisor to the President, identifying priorities, brainstorming & identifying solutions to challenges.
• Build a thorough understanding of all core business functions of the organization and apply that knowledge to effectively manage strategic and tactical initiatives consistent with objectives.
• Support the President in coordinating organizational procedures for optimized efficiency, help define new operational strategies, and optimized operating model.
• Help create and implement a toolbox for project management for key projects on the commercial side of the business.
• Prepare presentations and reports, orchestrate decision process and conduct research on clearly defined projects.
• Conduct analysis and research independently, calculate business cases, summarize results, and drive recommendation for next steps.
• Proactive identification of risks and issues that could impact the successful execution of business objectives; Elevate risks and issues about which the President should be aware and frame/position ideas to resolve the issues, mitigate the risks.
• Ensure preparation, coordination and facilitation of meetings; develop charter, objectives and agenda, and disseminate key outcomes, decisions and actions to relevant stakeholders
• Support the President in taking over clearly defined operational and/or strategic projects and run those independently.
• Act as representative for the President in appropriate meetings to gather information, provide input and facilitate efficient decision making
• Provide support for project updates and communications e.g. draft emails, reports, memos, presentations, internal and external communications In conjunction with executive assistant, finance, HR and Project Mgt.
• Other projects as assigned
• Reports to President, MSG; no direct reports
