Description : Ensign Services, Inc. (ESI) is seeking a results-driven Technical Revenue Senior Accountant to join our growing company, as it serves the needs of our rapidly-expanding client base across the United States. The primary responsibility of the Senior Accountant is to ensure the accurate accounting and reporting of revenue through partnership with various interdisciplinary teams. This role will assist with the modeling, interpretation and monitoring of revenue recognition on a daily basis. The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in technical accounting and be able to collaborate and communicate effectively in a team environment. This position is based in ESI's South Orange County Service Center in Mission Viejo, California.

Responsibilities
• Assist in the design, implementation and ongoing management of revenue recognition across multiple lines of business.
• Perform month-end close review of financial results and prepare journal entries.
• Assist in the review of contracts for revenue recognition and other financial implications.
• Research application of accounting principles as well as state and federal healthcare regulations.
• Partner with finance, operation and legal teams on a daily basis to ensure accuracy and completeness of data.
• Provide guidance to cross-functional teams, where needed, through close collaboration and clear communication.
• Assist in the data validation and analysis of ad-hoc projects.
Requirements : Minimum qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business or equivalent practical experience.
• CPA certification or candidate
• 2 years of relevant work experience in public accounting
• Intermediate Excel knowledge
Preferred qualifications:
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP
• Passion for driving business decisions by researching relevant guidance and analyzing large and complex data sets.
• Excellent business acumen with ability to deal with ambiguity. Effective skills and ability to understand and present data.
• Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Healthcare industry experience
