Description : Google's known for our innovative technologies, products and services -- and for the people behind them. Whether you are making our staffing systems more efficient, planning for our growth, building relationships on college campuses or cultivating the next generation of computer scientists, you have an eye on the staffing needs of Google and the broader hiring landscape. You are focused on cultivating outstanding candidates for Google's long-term hiring needs, and work across a cross-functional and international group of staffing teams. You are both scrappy and resourceful, creative and driven -- and excited to share the magic of working at Google.

The Hiring Innovation, Strategy and Enablement team is central to driving innovation and change for the Google People Services organization and Googlers who are responsible for hiring at Google.

As the Hiring Innovation Program Manager, you will play an essential role in developing and leading initiatives that evolve Google's hiring. This position requires exceptional project management capabilities and excellent leadership, communication and analysis skills. This role offers you the opportunity to hone your strategic and project management skills while providing exposure to multiple departments across Google.

Great just isn't good enough for our People Operations team (you probably know us better as "Human Resources"). Made up of equal parts HR professionals, former consultants, and analysts, we're the advocates of Google's colorful culture. In People Ops, we "find them, grow them, and keep them". We bring the world's most innovative people to Google and provide the programs that help them thrive. Whether recruiting the next Googler, refining our core programs, developing talent, or simply looking for ways to inject some more fun into the lives of our Googlers, we bring a data-driven approach that is reinventing the human resources field.

• Manage and enable change in a complex system. Lead and influence Googlers working across many functions to identify opportunities in complex spaces and evolve Google's hiring process and design solutions that address a range of perspectives.
• Develop and translate high level vision and strategy into daily operations. Work with leaders and teams to shape the strategic agenda for the upcoming year, leveraging those plans to inform resourcing decisions, objectives and key results (OKRs) and reviews. Drive progress against a portfolio of large-scale initiatives in the hiring space.
• Manage and influence partner relationships to ensure overall objectives are met. Understand and represent analytical research, our hiring philosophy and operational risk and opportunity across the entire portfolio of initiatives.
• Drive consensus among cross-functional teams and influence decision-making. Build a network to help expedite problem resolution.
Requirements : Minimum qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 9 years of relevant work experience, including program management experience and/or consulting experience.
• Experience in leading cross-functional project teams or managing a team.

Preferred qualifications:
• Experience in successfully managing and landing change.
• Experience applying project management skills to implement HR strategies and programs at company-wide scale.
• Background in human capital consulting, social sciences, research design and selection.
• Ability to think strategically and plan/execute on multiple projects simultaneously in an organized fashion.
• Ability to navigate in an ambiguous environment with multiple stakeholders and inspire a distributed group of contributors and leaders to act.
• Excellent organizational and program management skills.
