Description : Camber Creek is a venture capital firm providing strategic value and capital to operating technology companies focused on the real estate industry. Camber Creek contributes in a direct and significant way to the success of its portfolio companies by leveraging the real estate expertise, operating experience and portfolio of assets of its partners, investors, and advisors.

We are seeking an individual that is either pre or post MBA for our Washington DC area office. Camber Creek has an entrepreneurial environment providing the opportunity for team members to take on significant responsibility by owning initiatives and projects.

The role will be focused on supporting our Limited Partner Network (comprised of both existing and new investors) and analytically supporting both the diligence process and portfolio companies. Camber Creek’s core strategic value is having an engaged Limited Partner Network. This person will play an integral role in ensuring that engagement. Additionally, this person will support the overall investment process: reviewing new investment opportunities, conducting detailed due diligence (financial analysis/modeling), drafting investment memos and assisting in managing the portfolio investments. The role will require analytical skills to create financial models and analyze budgets. This person must be comfortable working alongside senior dealmakers as well as CEO’s and operators to drive Camber Creek’s investment initiatives.
Requirements : Candidate Profile:
• Bachelor’s degree with a finance, accounting, business or economics major from a top institution required.
• At least 3 years of work experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, management consulting or real estate.
• Strong communication skills to engage on a peer basis with limited partners, investors, portfolio companies, and C suite members.
• Extremely proficient in financial modeling
• Detailed oriented and systematic in maintaining relationships
• Experience within the real estate industry is a plus

Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and manage the existing and prospective Limited Partner Network relationships. Help with all events, communication, and sourcing.
• Support execution of all aspects of Camber Creek’s business including deal analysis, due diligence, structure and documentation with a focus on financial analysis and modeling.
• Participate in the management of existing portfolio companies
• Conduct industry-specific research
• Interact with portfolio companies and investors; assist in engagement marketing, planning and execution
• Willingness to undertake additional projects as required or assigned
